	This class is a fun hands-on introduction to forming, decorating, glazing and firing clay objects. The hand-built clay techniques use pinch, coil and slab construction. You will learn to create personalized pieces of art to be proud of. The potter’s wheel will also be introduced with instruction on centering and building the various parts of a vessel. 	If you have never thrown on a wheel, or if you are experienced, this class is for you. It will focus on the basic skills of wheel throwing; centering, opening and pulling vessels while learning how to form shapes, such as, cylinders, plates and bowls. Emphasis will be on developing a personal style and striving for consistency. Attention will be on the refinement of form, finishing, and glazing.
