Keith Jacobshagen
Keith Jacobshagen grew up in Wichita, Kansas. In 1965 he received a BFA from The Kansas City Art Institute, and an MFA from the University of Kansas in 1968. He is currently a Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he received the Outstanding Research and Creativity Award. His painting, Crow Call [Near the River], was on the cover of the Smithsonian Press/University of Iowa publication Plain Pictures: Images of the American Prairie that focused specifically on the tradition of depicting the unique landscape that is the prairie.
