Michael Eastman
Michael Eastman was born in Saint Louis in 1947. He is a self-taught photographer who, like other photographers such as Annie Liebowitz, Richard Avedon, Alfred Stieglitz and Man Ray, bridges commercial and fine-art photography. His fine-art career began in 1972. His work has been collected by prominent museums including: The Art Institute of Chicago, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
