In Chris's words:
"I love and appreciate all artistic mediums and have worked in many. My love and passion, however, is Oil painting on canvas. The colors are pure and alive and the way they blend enables me to get the kind of glow I desire. Whether it's in my traditional work or my contemporary "Splurges" the eventual goal is the same. A piece that draws the viewer to a place similar perhaps to where they've been before but most certainly somewhere they would like to be again!

'The art of Chris Abigt brings a fresh look to the world, conveying a new depth of color and warm beauty to the often over looked. She finds great inspiration in the beauty of a simple day wandering about the countryside.
