Alcohol ink is a relatively new medium known for its vibrant colors and unpredictable mixing and movements on a slick surface. A wide variety of ink applications will be explored, then used to create beautiful two and three-dimensional work. Using Art Elements, alcohol ink will be applied to Yupo plastic paper, acetate, metal, ceramic tile, and canvas. Students may bring their own supplies, however an “Ink Box” and assorted other materials will be provided.
Play with vibrant alcohol inks, creating three sheets of inked yupo to be cut, pieced, arranged and glued on a Masonite board.
