Blush Edge (Havelock Elevators - evening of 10" snow), 2004

A work such as Blush Edge takes a great deal of preparation for Jacobshagen, sketching with pencils and watercolor paints during visits over several months. Though it looks very real, the image in this painting is a blending of his many sketches and never existed quite like this.
